Welcome to the Mt. San Jacinto Community College Administration of Justice website. A career in criminal justice is exciting and full of challenges. There are many jobs available in this field and the classes offered at Mt. San Jacinto Community College will prepare you for a career in this field. Currently, many agencies have vacancies that need to be filled and provide excellent salaries and benefits. In addition, some agencies provide a signing bonus, education and relocation assistance, help with buying a home and great retirement plans. Another benefit is if you have an A.S. Degree in Criminal Justice, you may be able to start at a higher salary.
The advantage of taking course work in Administration of Justice or Corrections is that you will have an idea of what the job is about and be better prepared when you enter an agency's academy. In addition, taking course work and obtaining an A.S. Degree in Administration of Justice will demonstrate to an interview panel that you are serious about a career in criminal justice.
